Celebrate Christmas Day the Zebula way — with a generous festive feast, live entertainment, family fun and a very special touch of the bushveld.

This year, our Christmas in the Bushveld Lunch brings together everything we love about a South African summer Christmas. From fresh seafood and colourful salads to traditional festive favourites, slow-cooked meats and an indulgent dessert table, the menu has been designed for long, relaxed lunches shared with family and friends.

Enjoy dishes including smoked trout and salmon roulade, peri-peri lime prawns, seared duck breast, quinoa and halloumi salad, watermelon and feta, mint-glazed leg of lamb, honey and apricot gammon, stuffed turkey, oxtail ragout, crispy roast potatoes and a full selection of festive desserts — from Christmas pudding and profiteroles to pavlova, peppermint crisp tart, crème brûlée and more.

And Christmas Day at Zebula is about much more than lunch.

The herd from Adventures With Elephants will make a special visit, giving guests the opportunity to experience these magnificent animals up close and capture some truly memorable Christmas photographs. There will also be live music throughout the celebration, creating the perfect relaxed bushveld atmosphere.

For the younger guests — and quite possibly a few of the adults too — Santa will be making a special appearance, joined by Zebula’s very own Zebu mascot for festive fun and family photo opportunities.

It is set to be a colourful, joyful and unmistakably African Christmas celebration in the heart of the Waterberg.

Want to make Christmas at Zebula even more magical for your little ones?

Parents are welcome to bring a wrapped Christmas gift for their child and drop it off at Zebula Reception on Christmas morning before 11:00.

Please make sure each gift is clearly marked with the child’s full name (name and surname).

We’ll keep the presents safe and have them ready for a very special Christmas gift moment during the celebration, together with the visiting herd from Adventures With Elephants.
