  • Zebula Chillathon

    This November, we’re bringing the Chillathon concept to the Waterberg — with a distinctly Zebula twist.

    The idea behind Chillathon is simple: combine the challenge of a triathlon with a far more relaxed, social spirit. It’s about the adventure, the people you share it with and that feeling when you finally cross the finish line.

    The Zebula Chillathon begins at Bela-Bela Dam, where the adventure starts with a 1.5 km swim.

    From the water, it’s onto the bike for a spectacular 45 km cycle through the Waterberg, following the backroads from Bela-Bela towards Zebula. The route takes riders past familiar Bushveld landmarks including The Shack, Elements Private Golf Reserve and Mabalingwe, before arriving at Zebula Golf Estate & Spa.

    Then there’s just one more challenge: a 10 km run through Zebula, surrounded by the open spaces, wildlife and unmistakable Bushveld scenery of the estate.

    And after that?

    You chill. You’ve earned it.

    Run the Wild is a relaxed monthly community event open to runners, joggers and walkers of all fitness levels. Whether you are chasing a personal best, enjoying an easy morning walk or simply looking for a fun and active way to experience Zebula, everyone is welcome.

    Arrive early, enjoy the sunrise and share the route with friends, family and fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

  • Zebula 2026 Christmas Lunch

    Christmas Day at Zebula is about much more than lunch.

    The herd from Adventures With Elephants will make a special visit, giving guests the opportunity to experience these magnificent animals up close and capture some truly memorable Christmas photographs. There will also be live music throughout the celebration, creating the perfect relaxed bushveld atmosphere.

    For the younger guests — and quite possibly a few of the adults too — Santa will be making a special appearance, joined by Zebula’s very own Zebu mascot for festive fun and family photo opportunities.

    It is set to be a colourful, joyful and unmistakably African Christmas celebration in the heart of the Waterberg.
